Cupping - Tools of the Gods
You thought the cup marks that you saw on Olympic swimmers were the latest craze?
Think again!
Cupping was already used as a medicinal tool in ancient Egypt. There are two cups carved into stone in the medicinal section of temple ‘Kom Ombo’ in Aswan, Egypt.
The temple itself was built around 100BC and this section of it is all about medicine, medicinal tools, and – cups!
So if you like cupping and enjoy the relaxed feeling after a long session of sliding cups over your back - you are in royal company!
