Qualifications and Registration

Farida is a registered Chinese medicine practitioner with AHPRA and a member of the Australian Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine Association (AACMA). She holds a Bachelor of Health Science (Chinese Medicine) from the Southern School of Natural Therapies in Melbourne, as well as a master’s degree in economics, and a master’s degree in commerce (accounting).

Clinical Experience

After beginning her career in a group practice in Melbourne, Farida has spent around 10 years running her own clinic in North Perth. This experience has allowed her to give each patient focused, individualized care and develop treatment plans that address both immediate symptoms and the underlying imbalances contributing to illness.

Background and Ongoing Learning

Farida’s interest in alternative medicine began at a young age, influenced by her mother’s work as a natural health practitioner. Her commitment to Chinese medicine deepened after spending a year in Shanghai, and she continues to build her knowledge through ongoing study of needling techniques, herbal medicine, and emerging clinical research.
