Last week we celebrated Spring Equinox, one of the two days in the year when day and night last exactly the same amount of time. From now on, our days will become longer and longer and our nights shorter. Spring is also the time of growth, plants start flowering, everything is green and re-energised. It is also – especially this year with an abundance of flowers after the long winter rains – the time for hayfever sufferers, clogged sinuses and other respiratory issues.
Energetically speaking, in Spring, energy rises up, which can cause headaches and migraines in susceptible people. The strong difference between night and day temperatures might also make itself known in the joints for anybody who has chronic joint problems.
So, keep nourishing yourself, get that all-important vitamin D from some sun (don’t get sunburned though) and don’t overdo it that first time out exercising again 😊
